Caring for those in need can be expressed in many tangible ways Phone calls, home and hospital visits, cards, flowers demonstrates that individuals are loved, valued and always in our thoughts and prayers. Many in the Long Lane Church are involved in ministering to one another and the wider community in this way.
A recent innovation has been to establish a CARE team to assist in ensuring that those in need are not overlooked. Church members are requested to inform the CARE team of any practical needs they become aware of and the CARE team seeks to ensure that known needs are met. All information is treated in the utmost confidence.
The care team is headed by Ruth Matthews.
