membership

We believe that Long Lane Church is a local expression of the

Body of Christ and as such consider  membership of the Church to be a serious undertaking. Church members should be committed to a Christian witness in the local community and actively subscribe to and support the following:

 

· The 'Statement of Faith' as set out in the 'Our Beliefs'.

· The mission of the Church as set out in 'Our Vision'.

· Ordinances of the Communion Service and Baptism by

· immersion.

· The practice of the Church in its worship, prayer, teaching and outreach.

· Leadership and other organisational structures.

· Active Prayerful and financial support of the Church.

· The support and regular attendance to Church gatherings.

Annual General Meetings are held each autumn to review the work of the Church and to share concerns and comments of its members.

 

Vision Evenings

Occurring approximately three times a year the vision evening allow the leadership team to outline the direction they believe God is leading the church.
